This is the first of Marilyn’s designs I ever stitched. I didn’t want to do it on the black, so I took cream aida and dyed it slate grey and stitched on that. I also simplified the mirror (using half stitches instead of full stitches) and removed the roses around the mirror. It was a gift to my mother and (as far as I know) still hangs in her bedroom.
